iCupid Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how iCupid, an application developed by Superlike, handles information when you use the app or contact us.

Information you provide

iCupid may receive profile details such as your name, age, gender, interests, biography, photos, voice introductions, account credentials, messages, and information you provide to support. You choose what to add to your profile, subject to the information required to operate an account.

Device information and permissions

With your permission, iCupid may use location to help you discover people, the camera and photo library to add profile media, the microphone to create voice introductions, and notifications to alert you about account activity. We may also process device identifiers, app version, operating-system information, usage events, crash reports, and performance data.

How information is used

We use information to create and secure accounts, display profiles, provide discovery and messaging, personalize the experience, prevent fraud and abuse, process purchases, respond to support, improve performance, and comply with legal obligations.

Messages and profile visibility

Profile information you choose to publish may be visible to other iCupid members. Messages and voice content are delivered to the people you contact. Do not share information you do not want another member to receive.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your personal information. Limited information may be processed by service providers that support hosting, authentication, analytics, safety, customer support, payments, and app operations. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.

Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide iCupid, maintain safety, comply with law, and resolve disputes. You may request account and data deletion by contacting [email protected]. Some records may be retained where legally required or necessary for fraud prevention and security.

Your choices

You can edit profile information in the app, manage permissions in device settings, manage notifications, and control applicable subscription settings through Apple. Depending on your location, you may also request access, correction, or deletion of personal information.

Age requirement

iCupid is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit minors to create accounts.

Security and international use

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure. Because iCupid may be used internationally, information may be processed in countries with different data-protection laws, subject to applicable safeguards.
